Institutional Owner's Rep

When an institution undergoes a project, the decisions are generally made by Committees comprised of volunteers. Often these groups need a designated professional representative on their "team" to advise and represent them in all aspects of the process – from design through construction, to ensure they are getting the results they want within the budget and timeframe they expect. SBJ has developed particular expertise with Jewish religious institutions – Synagogues, Mikvehs, Kosher commercial kitchens, etc. With a thorough understanding of the priorities and philosophies of such institutions, SBJ is able to advise and assist the clients on a regular step by step basis.

Homeowner's Rep

Often a client is undergoing a project that, while perhaps not requiring design sketches or a full set of drawings, does require the insight, experience, advise, involvement and coordination of a professional architect acting on the client's behalf. In such cases, SBJ acts as the owner's representative and project manager. While enabling the client to be the ultimate decision maker, we guide the client through the process, coordinating and managing the project schedule and budget as well as administering the construction process and ensuring that design intent is maintained.
